Construction Updates

  • The masonry work continues on the exterior wall of the church.  The bricklayers have made great progress this week, and with good weather expected for next week, they should be well ahead of schedule.

  • The interior framing is complete.  This photo is taken from the cry room looking toward the new restrooms. The door to the left is the entry to the accessible bathroom that will serve the cry room and wedding parties, when that room is used as a bride’s room.

  • This drawing shows the exterior of the extension of the church, with the niche for our statue of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.  The entrance to the church is around the left.

  • There are two rows of cast stone that are part of the wall design.  This photo shows one of them, at the level of the top of the covered entryway leading to the church.  The other will be at the top of the wall, and will be installed by next week.

  • This photo shows the plumbing in the women’s restroom.  The men’s restroom is adjacent to it.  There’s still some plumbing work to be done, but it is ninety percent complete.  At the top of the photo, you can see the air conditioning ducts.  Soon, the electricians will begin their work of wiring the new addition.
