Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is an inquiry process for people who are thinking about the possibility of becoming Catholic. It is for people who have not been baptized, people of other faiths or people who have been baptized Catholic but did not complete the sacraments of Initiation. This is a beautiful process, with no pressure to commit to our faith community, in which interested persons slowly explore the beliefs of the Catholic Church and discern, over a period of many months, if they desire to become Catholic.
